The Green Gorilla was a start-up company in the natural food and supplement industry. It was focusing on plant-based protein with Moringa as its focused ingredient. Moringa is classified as a "superfood" and was new to the market when this product was first launched. The "green" represented plant-based and organic, while the "gorilla" represented strength by "mostly" plants. Yeah, it's crazy how big and insanely strong gorillas are while sticking mostly to a vegetarian diet.
